What helps us help you
- The place you were looking at, as the app names it. The town is enough; leave out your address.
- What you saw, and what you expected to see.
- A screenshot, if you can take one.
- Your device, and whether you were in the Android app or the web app.
Good to know
- "Your area" is approximate on purpose. Skyhunch works from an area of about 2 square miles, never from your exact position, so it names the nearest town and not your street. The privacy page has the details.
- Where the weather comes from. Each place lists its sources at the bottom of its screen, under "Forecast sources".
- Alerts cover the United States. A place abroad gets a forecast, without official alerts.
In an emergency
Skyhunch is not a substitute for official warnings. If you are in danger, follow the instructions of local officials and call your local emergency number.
